Due to the rapid expansion of Bluegrasscoms and our Industry leading bodyshop tool called Vision we are looking to recruit more staff to continue our growth. Data Analyst

Permanent, Full-time | Newbury | Salary: DOE

Develop, maintain and implement database based applications, including OLAP Cubes and other tools.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Under direction from the Chief Data Analyst and Senior DBA develop, maintain and implement database based applications and tools, used in BI internal and external reporting. This process will involve:
  • Develop and configure application or tool according the requirements
  • Setup and configuration of data feeds for application
  • Validation that the application is performing correctly and data feeds are functioning correctly
  • Release of tool to appropriate environments
  • The tools will be likely to be SQL based although there are opportunities to use other technologies including Excel VBA and Power Pivot.
  • Peer review of other developers code working with that developer to share best practice for SQL
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with Manager, peers and team.
  • Committed to accuracy and quality of delivery.
  • Takes responsibility for own personal development and skills updating.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Account Manager to join a fast growing agency at an exciting time.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and friendly Account Manager to join our client services team.

The role would suit someone with an interest and experience in the Automotive Industry, however working with and pitching to clients in other industry sectors would be expected.

In terms of marketing management it is a offline/online split, therefore a mix of print management, and website/app/crm system knowledge would be beneficial.

Main Duties

Client Servicing

  • Develop and maintain a close and productive relationship with key client contacts, acting with integrity at all times
  • Identify and deal with problems as they arise, appreciating when it is appropriate to escalate to director level.
  • Identify business growth opportunities with new and existing clients. Formulate and present new business propositions accordingly.
  • Attend, host and present at client meetings, throughout the UK
  • Provide day to day contact with key client contacts and manage the Account Executive involvement with clients and projects
  • Ensure client requests are developed into internal briefs using specified Agency documentation and procedures, as appropriate
  • Front creative briefing meetings with the Client
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client’s business and objectives

Administration and Financial Management

  • At the beginning of every project ensure accurate quotations are produced and distributed
  • Monitor ongoing costs throughout each project
  • Manage the production of accurate and timely invoices, dealing with any billing or financial query as neccessary
  • Monitor profitability of individual jobs and overall accounts
  • Liaise with the various teams within Bluegrasscoms (marketing, telesales, data & reporting, web & digital development, finance) to ensure deliverables are briefed, understood and executed in a timely manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Educated to graduate level or equivalent
  • Understand and articulate the basics of advertising and marketing
  • Experience within print and digital marketing. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Organised, with a keen eye for detail
  • PC literate

.NET Developer

The company has experienced rapid growth in the last year and are seeking a .Net professional to join their small, talented IT team based in their head offices near Newbury. This role comes as a result of continual growth and the company is in an excellent position. The company has been working solely in the automotive industry since day one and have been able to carry out a variety of solutions for many of the major global vehicle manufactures. These are bespoke solutions for each company and are aimed to achieve the best results within budget and at the correct rate.

Your new role

You'll be working within a small dynamic team of software developers developing web-based and database oriented projects. The software and data analysis teams work in conjunction to enable the company to deliver the solutions required to push growth and deliver revenue. You will not be working from strict specs but will be expected to be part of requirements capture and timescale management.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have proven experience programming in C# and be comfortable with Asp.Net, MVC and SQL Server. You should also have knowledge of web technologies, namely HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and Rest) and Version Control will be a distinct bonus. Mobile app development experience with Xamarin would also be to your advantage but not essential. You must be a good communicator happy to sit with various stakeholders. You will need to be pragmatic and natural problem solver. You'll ideally have a car and driving license.
